Disney has announced some of its plans for releasing classic animated movies on Blu-ray. The releases are being called the Diamond Collection. From now until 2015, 14 titles will be released. The 2009 release is 'Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs'. Starting in 2010, there will be two releases each year. For 2010 there are 'Beauty and the Beast' and 'Fantasia and Fantasia 2000'. The future titles will be:
The Lion King
Bambi
Cinderella
Lady and the Tramp
The Little Mermaid
Peter Pan
The Jungle Book
101 Dalmatians
Also, 'Sleeping Beauty' and 'Pinocchio', already out on Blu-ray as Platinum editions, will be re-released at Diamond editions.
